For Therapists and Professionals

I work with women navigating relational trauma, attachment wounds, and grief. This includes women with a history of abandonment or relational pain who carry those patterns into adult relationships, as well as women navigating the death of a loved one, anticipatory grief, end of life, and loss without closure. I bring clinical training and years of direct experience in grief work, including time in hospital and ICU settings, to this practice.

My clients often appear high-functioning on the outside but are struggling internally with grief, abandonment patterns, anxiety, or a persistent sense of being stuck that hasn't shifted with time or traditional approaches.

When a Referral May Be Helpful

Clients may benefit from referral when they:

  • Are carrying a loss, a death, a relationship ending, estrangement, or an experience that was never fully processed.

  • Struggle with patterns of abandonment or feeling not chosen, either from childhood or adult relationships.

  • Present as high-functioning but report significant internal distress.

  • Are overwhelmed but have difficulty accessing or expressing emotions.

  • Are not progressing in more structured or solution-focused therapy.

  • Have tried to push through on their own but continue to feel stuck.

Therapy Structure

Clients are typically seen three times per month with one integration week built in. This structure supports consistency without overwhelm, space for reflection and processing, and nervous system regulation between sessions. This rhythm allows the work to continue outside of sessions, where many insights and shifts naturally occur.

My Approach

My work is relational, depth oriented, and grounded in nervous system regulation.

I integrate:

  • attachment-informed therapy

  • cognitive behavioral therapy

  • polyvagal and somatic approaches

  • grief-informed and loss-focused work

Sessions are paced to support emotional safety while allowing for deeper processing over time. This is not quick-fix work. It is steady, intentional, and focused on helping clients understand what is happening internally so meaningful change can occur.

Who I work with:

I work with women experiencing:

  • Grief related to death, divorce, estrangement, or major life transitions.

  • Ambiguous loss, including infertility, unresolved relationships, or losses without closure.

  • Abandonment wounds from childhood or adult relationships.

  • Anxiety, emotional numbness, overwhelm, or identity loss.

  • Relational patterns that keep repeating despite insight or effort.

  • Difficulty moving forward despite time passing.

How to Refer

I work with clients in person in Phoenix, Arizona and virtually throughout Arizona, Oregon, and Washington. Clients can reach out directly through my website to schedule a consultation.

You are also welcome to contact me directly: nancy@talk2wcc.com

Sessions are $150 for 50 minutes. I do not accept insurance but can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. I also work with select EAP providers including Modern Health and Lyra.

Collaboration and Coordination

I value collaboration and continuity of care. With client consent, I am open to:

• coordinating with referring providers
• providing updates when appropriate
• supporting shared treatment goals

My goal is to ensure clients feel supported from all angles while maintaining a clear and consistent therapeutic experience.

Ideal Fit

I work best with clients who are open to deeper work and ready to understand their emotional experience, not just manage it.

If you are working with someone who feels stuck, disconnected from themselves, or impacted by grief or relational pain they haven't been able to move through, I would be glad to support them.
