For Therapists and Professionals
I specialize in grief, ambiguous loss, and abandonment.
I work with women who appear high functioning on the outside but are struggling internally with loss, disconnection, or emotional overwhelm that has not resolved over time.
Many of the clients referred to me are navigating experiences that are difficult to name or process in traditional therapy settings.
When a Referral May Be Helpful
Clients may benefit from referral when they:
• feel stuck in grief that is not shifting.
• are dealing with loss without closure.
• struggle with patterns of abandonment or feeling not chosen.
• are overwhelmed but have difficulty accessing or expressing emotions.
• are not progressing in more structured or solution focused therapy.
• present as high functioning but report internal distress.
Who I work with
I work with clients experiencing:
• grief related to death, divorce, or major life transitions.
• ambiguous loss such as estrangement, infertility, or unresolved relationships.
• abandonment wounds from childhood or adult relationships.
• emotional numbness, overwhelm, or identity loss.
• difficulty moving forward despite time passing.
Many of these clients have tried to push through or make sense of things on their own, but continue to feel stuck.
Therapy Structure
Clients are typically seen three times per month with one integration week built in.
This structure supports:
• consistency without overwhelm
• space for reflection and processing
• nervous system regulation between sessions
This rhythm allows the work to continue outside of sessions, where many insights and shifts naturally occur.
My Approach
My work is relational, depth oriented, and grounded in nervous system regulation.
I integrate:
• grief focused therapy
• attachment informed work
• cognitive behavioral therapy
• polyvagal and somatic approaches
Sessions are paced to support emotional safety while allowing for deeper processing over time.
This is not quick fix work. It is steady, intentional, and focused on helping clients understand what is happening internally so meaningful change can occur.
How to Refer
Clients can reach out directly through my website to schedule a consultation.
You are also welcome to contact me directly: nancy@talk2wcc.com
I offer a consultation so clients can determine if the fit feels right before beginning.
Collaboration and Coordination
I value collaboration and continuity of care.
With client consent, I am open to:
• coordinating with referring providers
• providing updates when appropriate
• supporting shared treatment goals
My goal is to ensure clients feel supported from all angles while maintaining a clear and consistent therapeutic experience.
Ideal Fit
I work best with clients who are open to deeper work and are ready to understand their emotional experience, not just manage it.
If you are working with someone who feels stuck in grief, disconnected from themselves, or impacted by abandonment patterns, I would be glad to support them.
